Instantiation

Definition

Used when: one argument describes a situation as holding in a set of circumstances(or general description of a situation), while the other argument describes one or more of those circumstances(typically concrete instances of the circumstances).

Examples

(1) A: foreign companies such as Givaudan that deal with those industries are being hit the hardest
(2) A: But in general, all foreign-trading companies are feeling the pinch.
